Reverie is so much more than a state of mind or a place. Reverie exists because we believe it is a sacred and beautiful moment when people promise to love each other forever. Marriages ought to get their start in a space worthy of that kind of bold promise. We wanted to dream up a wedding venue that could honor not just the people making the promise, but all the people that support them and celebrate them. Reverie is about more than just the space, it’s also about all the people that fill it. You supply the guests – all the relatives you can manage, all the friends who buy gifts far off the registry, all the people you love and sort of like, and we will take care of the rest.
If you decide to let us host your wedding, we’re ready with a whole community of people ready to support and serve you in the whole process leading up to the big day. Since we’re an extension of SouthBrook Christian Church, we have a staff of people ready to help you think through and execute every detail, including event hosts and support staff, sound and lighting engineers, officiants, marriage mentors and consultants. As a multi-purpose venue, you can plan to have your whole day happen in one location: stunning one of a kind bridal and groom suites to prepare, a beautiful 300-person chapel for the ceremony, indoor and outdoor space for cocktail hours, and a reception hall designed for the perfect celebration.

Sol Gomez
Reverie Director
Sol handles piles of details behind the scenes at Reverie and loves doing this work so that people are freed up to enjoy these meaningful events in their lives. His work with Reverie was a natural outgrowth from his work at SouthBrook, making sure people are welcomed and loved. His own marriage to Angie is going on 39 years, adding 3 children and 4 grandchildren along the way. He’s a big fan of music and restoring old cars and antiques to their rightful glory.

Abbie has been with Reverie since it was just a pile of blueprints and loves that she gets to help make the moments people remember for the rest of their lives. Abbie sees the whole wedding planning process as building great relationships, and enjoys working closely with her clients. Her own dog, Murphy, is her favorite, but she insists that all dogs grow to love her. When she’s not orchestrating events, she’s singing at SouthBrook or trying out new restaurants and foods.

Sarah is the latest addition to Reverie’s staff and loves seeing the happiness of people on these sweet and significant days. Sarah is also an organizational wiz. She helps us keep timelines and event logistics organized and running smoothly. You’ll find her helpful emails in your inbox often. She and her husband, Bob, have two kids and 25 lovely years behind them together. She is also somehow a fan of both Notre Dame and Ohio State football…but we love her anyway.

Susan is another great addition to our Reverie Team. She loves all the special moments and memories that take place at Reverie. Susan is a great team player and loves what she does. She keeps us on our toes, while keeping events running like clockwork. She and her husband, Matt, have been married for 29 years and have 4 sons. She loves to vacation to Florida and hop on cruises around the Caribbean, whatever keeps her in sun-kissed style year ’round.

When you book your event with Reverie, our entire team of support staff is here for you too! From tech and AV support and chalk wall artists to pre-marital counseling and officiants, our entire team is here to make sure every aspect of your event is fabulous from start to finish.
We loved our experience at Reverie! They had great communication with us during the Covid. They kept us updated and answered hard questions for us as we planned. Everyone was so helpful from day one. We arranged multiple times for our families to come and see the venue and they were very accommodating. We can’t speak highly enough about Sol! He’s amazing and so glad he married us. As far as the wedding day, everything went so well. Our guests had a great and safe time. It was really nice to be able to have our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one place.
